How Micheal Bay killed my childhood

For some reason,Hollywood gives Micheal Bay every well known property to destroy. From my beloved Transformers, and now The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT).

The original plot of TMNT,reshaped their Universe by making them "Aliens".A plot-line that has apparently been scrapped.

Instead of making them Aliens,he chose to make them 7 foot tall CGI Manics. While turning Shredder into April O' Neil's father-figure(played by Megan Fox),and turning The Foot Clang into brainless commandos.

Before seeing the trailer for the film.I was actually planning on driving to a theater, which I haven't done for years.

I'm sure there will be explosions,yup.....explosions

Camp at your own risk

A homeless man by the name of James Boyd, was shot and killed on March 16,this past Sunday.Boyd,a New Mexico native was allegedly illegally camping in the wilderness of Albuquerque.

The Albuquerque Police Department claims they approached the homeless man,who was fast asleep(meaning they woke him up,by screaming*allegedly*).

Illegally Camping?

To talk about his "illegal camping",which allegedly sent Boyd into a rage. The Authorities say Boyd started to argue w/ them, and ignored their orders "to get on the ground".

Boyd, like most of the homeless population of America, had a mental disorder.A mental disorder, triggered by a flash bang grenade. In the confusion,Boyd pulled out a knife, which costed him his life. The officers fired several rounds in the man, leaving his body stiff on a mountainous rock.

After his body being motionless for a couple of seconds. The officers then proceed to order their K-9 to bite his lifeless body.

Many advocacy groups wonder why stun-guns weren't used during the operation, and have asked for the DOJ(Department of Justice)to get involved. Two of the officers who carried out the operation, have been given paid administrative leave .

Is VR the Future of Gaming?

The stereoscopic fantasy has enthused gamers for decades, while the technology always hampered it's  practical  development. It seems that this tech hurdle has been conquered,w/ a wave of  Gaming Companies promoting their VR headsets.Among these gaming companies, two of them stand above the rest.

Sony recently unveiled it's VR headset dubbed "Morpheus"

According to Sony's US R&D Senior Software Engineer,Anton Mikhailvo in a interview conducted by Digitaltrends .Mikhailvo said "We’ve been doing VR for this project for about three years, so we definitely started before Oculus was even funded"
          Digitaltrends.com

Morpheus is intended to be paired up w/ the Playstation's Camera for a combination of motion tracking, and Visual immersion. Sony seems to be capitalizing on the popularity of PS4,which Sony hopes can cascade it's headsets in the VR market.A VR market ripe w/ competition,mostly from Oculus Rift(recently acquired by Facebook)

Everyday there's another company entering the VR market, hopefully healthy competition will inspire innovation. They're too many variables at this moment,to say VR is the future, but hopefully it's a branch that will lead to the future of gaming.
